The Galaxy A53 units in Korea are getting a new software update. It brings the March 2026 security patch, which fixes 65 security issues that plagued the previous version of the OS, making the phone more secure than before. The update carries firmware version A536NKSSFGZC2.
As usual, the Galaxy A53 units in other countries should start getting the update in the next few days. To check if it has become available your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We will soon make it available in our database for you to download and install.
While we are talking about software updates for the Galaxy A53, it is worth pointing out that Samsung should soon roll out One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QRP2) for it.
