In 2025, Samsung acquired FläktGroup, a German brand with more than 100 years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions for high-demand environments. Now, Samsung and FläktGroup are jointly showcasing their air conditioning technologies for commercial and residential environments.
With support from FläktGroup’s commercial HVAC expertise, Samsung is targeting high-value industries such as data centers and clean rooms. It will become a huge market, as artificial intelligence (AI) demand boom continues and more servers and data centers are constructed.
At MCE (Mostra Convegno Expocomfort) 2026, Europe’s largest biennial HVAC exhibition, Samsung and FläktGroup are presenting a comprehensive ecosystem of air conditioning products and solutions in Milan, Italy. The event, which runs from March 24 to March 27, features more than 1,900 brands, and Samsung has set up a 500-square-meter booth at the exhibition.
Alongside FläktGroup’s HVAC systems, Samsung is showcasing its Wind-Free air conditioners, residential high-efficiency heat pumps, Eco Heating Solutions (EHS), and commercial air conditioning offerings.
The companies are demonstrating a system that combines five indoor units from FläktGroup with Samsung’s DVM S2+ outdoor unit, offering improved energy efficiency through the use of a Building Management System (BMS) and AI-based optimization.
One of the highlights is CAIRplus, an air handling unit (AHU) designed to regulate air quality in large buildings. It manages humidity, air purification, and temperature while optimizing performance through a customized, energy-efficient design.
Another product on display is the compact fan coil unit (FCU) called Geko, which features a slim design and low noise levels. It offers excellent space efficiency and delivers precise temperature control quickly.
Samsung also showcased its EHS All-in-One solution, which provides cooling, heating, and hot water. It is more energy-efficient and produces lower carbon emissions compared to traditional fossil fuel-based boilers. The system uses R32 refrigerant, which has 68 percent lower global warming potential than the conventional R410A refrigerant.
Additionally, the company is presenting its Digital Variable Multi (DVM) lineup of high-efficiency system air conditioners designed for large commercial spaces.
For residential use cases, Samsung is highlighting its air conditioners under two themes: comfort and connectivity. The 2026 version of the AI Wind-Free Combo Pro wall-mounted unit features improved cooling performance and a redesigned form factor.
Its AI Motion Wind feature allows users to customize airflow based on their lifestyle and environment. It has three modes: AI Direct, AI Indirect, and Wind-Free.
