Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled its new Bespoke AI Family Hub Refrigerator with upgraded Bixby and Gemini AI assistants. It was first showcased at CES 2026. Now, the company has launched the appliance in its home country, South Korea. It is available in two variants: one with a 9-inch touchscreen and Kitchen Fit Max design, and another with a 32-inch touchscreen and Kitchen Fit design.
The 9-inch display model is priced at KRW 4.64 million (around $3,100), while the 32-inch touchscreen model costs KRW 5.84 million (around $3,900). Both variants are offered in the Clean White color and have a french door layout.
Both models feature a downward-facing Vision AI camera that can track what items are placed inside or removed from the refrigerator. It can identify up to 37 types of fresh food items and up to 50 types of packaged foods based on labels and barcodes. With its continuously updated database, the system can notify you when items are about to run out or expire. This visual recognition technology is powered by Google’s Gemini AI model.

The refrigerator also integrates with Samsung Food, and its AI Food Manager can recommend recipes based on the ingredients stored inside and your dietary preferences. All data is synced with the Samsung Food app on your Galaxy phone, tablet, and TV or monitor. The FoodNote feature analyzes ingredient usage over time and provides a weekly healthy eating report.
The upgraded Bixby assistant now has improved natural language understanding, allowing for more intuitive voice commands. For example, you can say, “I put ice cream in the refrigerator, so freeze it fast” or “Recommend a dish based on the available ingredients.”

This new Bespoke AI Family Hub Refrigerator also features Hybrid Cooling. In addition to conventional cooling methods, it uses a Peltier cooling device. Together, the system delivers up to 20% faster cooling. The AI inverter compressor can offer up to 25% higher efficiency when using AI Saving Mode through SmartThings.
The Auto Door feature allows the refrigerator to open or close automatically with a light touch or a voice command. This is particularly useful when your hands are full or dirty while cooking or handling groceries.
The touchscreen display also serves as an entertainment hub. You can play music via Spotify or YouTube Music, watch videos on Samsung TV Plus or YouTube, and use SmartThings Map View to monitor the real-time status of your compatible smart home devices.
