Samsung launched its first glasses-free 3D gaming monitor, the Odyssey 3D, last year. At launch, it supported only a few games with 3D functionality. Now, the South Korean company has partnered with several game studios and publishers to expand support. Samsung says the monitor will soon support more than 120 games with 3D features.
At the ongoing GDC Festival of Gaming 2026 expo in San Francisco, Samsung is showcasing the games Hell Is Us and Cronos: The New Dawn on the Odyssey 3D monitor. Hell Is Us is a critically acclaimed game and was released in late 2025. It will support the Odyssey 3D later this month. Cronos: The New Dawn, a horror survival game developed by Bloober Team, will receive support later this year.
Both titles will be available through the Samsung Odyssey 3D Hub, a dedicated content hub for games that support the monitor’s 3D features. The hub already includes more than 60 supported games.
In addition to its glasses-free 3D capabilities, the monitor also supports HDR10+ GAMING. This feature automatically analyzes scenes and adjusts brightness, contrast, and color on a frame-by-frame basis to improve visual quality. Samsung has already introduced HDR10+ GAMING on select monitors and TVs with refresh rates of 120Hz or higher.
Samsung is also working with the game studio CD PROJEKT RED to integrate HDR10+ GAMING into the popular video game Cyberpunk 2077. The company has also partnered with Pearl Abyss to add HDR10+ GAMING support to its upcoming open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert, which is scheduled to launch later this month.
Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “The Odyssey 3D is designed for gamers who want to experience their hobby in a way that feels like they’re completely embedded in the action. Through partnerships with leading gaming studios, we are committed to creating an ecosystem of top-tier titles, making great games extraordinary.”
