Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 Ultra are now live in many markets. There's a lot of interest in Samsung's top-of-the-line flagship for this year, and rightly so.

Samsung provides its best smartphone camera experience on the Ultra models and the Galaxy S26 Ultra is no different. Our colleagues over at SamMobile TV have highlighted the 10 notable Galaxy S26 Ultra camera upgrades worth a look.

The upgrades highlighted in this video cover both hardware and software improvements that Samsung has made to its latest flagship phone. For example, the toggle for switching to 24-megapixel as the default resolution for every time you launch the camera app is a notable addition.

Speaking of software upgrades, the horizontal lock feature is quite impressive. It works very well, better than advertised even, that using it is an absolute joy.

The aperture changes are worth keeping in mind of. The primary sensor has gone from f/1.7 on the Galaxy S25 Ultra to f/1.4, and the 5x telephoto has gone from f/3.4 to f/2.9. In simple terms, this means that these sensors will let in more light and thus improve low light performance. There also won't be as much motion blur so the overall picture quality will improve.
