Yesterday, Samsung started updating Galaxy smartphones with the February 2026 security patch. The Galaxy S25 series was the first to get it. Now, the brand is offering it to the Galaxy S24 FE.
Currently, Samsung is rolling out the update in Korea. It has firmware version S721NKSSACZB2. The February 2026 security patch fixes a total of 37 security issues present in the previous version of the OS.
Usually, Samsung releases a new security update first to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra and then to the Galaxy S24 FE. However, that’s not the case this time around.
The Galaxy S24 FE has gotten the update, but the other three devices haven’t. Anyway, to get the latest security update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Speaking of software updates for Galaxy smartphones, Samsung is expected to debut the stable version of One UI 8.5 with the Galaxy S26 series tomorrow. The brand is then said to start rolling it out to eligible devices, and that includes the Galaxy S24 FE.
