Samsung has just provided the Galaxy S26 launch update that we had all been waiting for. The company has confirmed when the Unpacked event for the Galaxy S26 series is going to take place.

Earlier rumors got both the time and location right. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026 in San Francisco, California.

You can already reserve Samsung's next Galaxy flagship

Samsung's confirmation for the Galaxy S26 launch event is understandably light on the details about the device. It just mentions that the “new Galaxy S series” has been built to simplify everyday interactions and integrate AI features seamlessly from the moment you pick up the device.

The company's hyping up the AI capabilities quite a bit, saying that this lineup will usher “a new phase in the era of AI.” Such embellishments aren't out of the ordinary, but we'll wait and see how Samsung intends to push the envelope on mobile AI with the Galaxy S26 trio.

Despite earlier rumors about Samsung shaking up the series to replace the Galaxy S26+ with the Galaxy S26 Edge, it will be business as usual. The company will unveil the same three core models that we've come to associate with every new Galaxy S flagship. Samsung will also unveil the new Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro.

Reservations are open now and you can sign up to get a $30 credit. This also gives you the chance to win a $5,000 gift card that can be used to purchase anything on Samsung.com.
