Samsung is making its home appliances smarter every year, with the SmartThings smart home platform at the center of that transformation. Today, the company announced that the SmartThings Home Care feature is coming to its new air conditioner (AC) lineup in India.
The South Korean firm revealed that its newly launched Bespoke AI series ACs in India are compatible with SmartThings Home Care. This preventive maintenance solution helps users enjoy uninterrupted comfort by automatically monitoring the AC’s performance. It can identify potential errors and faults early and notify users, enabling faster after-sales service.
The feature also helps service engineers speed up issue diagnosis, such as detecting the need for a filter replacement or identifying low refrigerant gas levels. When they have this information in advance, technicians can arrive with the correct spare parts and complete repairs more quickly, reducing downtime for users.
Samsung’s new Bespoke AI lineup of air conditioners, which launched in India last month, is now available through authorized online and offline retailers, including Samsung’s website and major e-commerce platforms.
