Samsung has launched the Galaxy A07 5G in India. The phone was introduced in Thailand and the Philippines a few days earlier. It is an entry-level device featuring a large display and a high capacity battery, two features that many buyers demand today.
The phone is available in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB of storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at INR 15,999 (~$165), while the 6GB RAM version costs INR 17,999 (~$199). It is offered in three colors: Black, Light Green, and Light Violet.
Samsung is providing a cashback of INR 1,000 (~$11) when the Galaxy A07 5G is purchased using Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, or SBI cards, or through UPI.
The phone is available through Samsung Stores, Samsung's website, and all authorized offline and online retailers in India.
The Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7 inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 800 nits. The back panel is more durable than that of its predecessor due to the use of glass fiber reinforced polymer material. The device also carries an IP54 rating for dust protection and resistance to water splashes.
Samsung has equipped the phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot allows storage expansion of up to 2TB. The device runs Android 16 with One UI 8.0 and comes with a promise of six major Android OS updates and up to six years of security updates.
For photography, the Galaxy A07 5G includes a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front facing camera. It supports Full HD video recording at 30 frames per second.
Additional features include a side mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity, dual SIM support, Wi Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type C 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast wired charging.
Aditya Babbar, Vice President of MX Business at Samsung India, said, “The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is designed to be ‘More Awesome’ by blending creativity, performance, and entertainment with its more powerful 50MP camera, longer lasting 6000mAh battery, and smoother 120Hz display. We are thrilled to introduce this complete package tailored for Indian youth.”
