Samsung’s One UI 7.0 (Android 15) for Galaxy phones brought with it many new features. One of them was Now Bar, which can show the status of ongoing activities, such as a stopwatch, a timer, and a sports score, on the status bar, at the top of the notification panel, and at the bottom of the lock screen, enabling you to keep a better track of them, even without unlocking the device.

Initially, Now Bar showed the status of very few ongoing activities, and most were from first-party applications. As time passed by, the brand upgraded it to show information on more activities, such as sports match win predictions and that from Google Commute. Well, with One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2), the firm is upgrading it to show another piece of crucial information, missed calls.

On X, Tarun Vats claims that the Now Bar on One UI 8.5 can show how many missed calls you have had. This is a very useful feature, helping you track missed calls in a better way. They have also shared an image backing their claim. You can check it out below.

So far, Samsung has released One UI 8.5 only for the Galaxy S25 series, and it's in the beta stage. From what we could gather, it doesn’t offer missed call support for Now Bar. Considering that, we think this screenshot is from a newer version of the software.
