Samsung started rolling out the January 2026 security patch to Galaxy Watch models with the Galaxy Watch 5. Now, the brand is offering the latest security patch to its successor, the Galaxy Watch 6.
The update for the Galaxy Watch 6 carrying the January 2026 security patch is currently live for the cellular variant of the smartwatch that Samsung sells in South Korea, which has the model number SM-R935N.
The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 6 is 157.25MB in size and carries firmware version R935NKOS1CZA1 (via Samsung Community). The January 2026 security patch fixes 55 security issues present in the previous version of the operating system, making the smartwatch more secure than before.
