The day that many in the United States had been waiting for is finally here. Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Z TriFold's price in the US.
The company had previously confirmed that it will release the device Stateside. Samsung's first tri-fold phone has already been released in a handful of markets, including South Korea, China, and the United Arab Emirates.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Z TriFold will be available for purchase in the United States starting January 30. It's already showing off the device through select Samsung Experience Store outlets across the country.
Customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy Z TriFold at Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung.com. As things stand, it will not be available through retailers like Amazon or carriers. If you want one, you need to buy one from Samsung.
Those who are interested in buying the device will need to dig deep into their pockets. The official Galaxy Z TriFold price in the US is $2,899. This gets them the tri-fold phone with 512GB of onboard storage in the Crafted Black color.
Wherever it has been released so far, Samsung has only made this device available in very limited quantities. This will likely be the case in the United States as well. The Galaxy Z TriFold isn't meant to be a mass-market device just yet.
So if you're really looking forward to buying one, make sure you get your order in as soon as possible, because it's highly likely the Galaxy Z TriFold will sell out soon after it goes on sale.
