Samsung has finally released an update for the Good Lock Home Up app that makes it compatible with devices running One UI 8.5. Home Up was one of the last remaining Good Lock modules that did not support One UI 8.5. In addition to compatibility, the update introduces several new features and improvements. It has also fixed some bugs.
Samsung has released Home Up version 17.5.00.18, which adds full support for One UI 8.5. With this update, Galaxy users who enjoy customizing their home screens can continue using their existing layouts and tweaks even if they are using a device that is running One UI 8.5.
The update brings the ability to set app icons, widgets, and settings in Large Folders on the home screen. There is a new panel that integrates apps, people, and tasks. For Galaxy Z series phones, it brings a way to adjust the number of favorites that are visible on the cover screen. It also brings the ability to turn on/off gesture-based app switching.
Samsung has also brought the ability to exclude some items from appearing in direct sharing in the Share pop-up menu. The DIY home layout's misalignment issues has been solved as well. The new version of the app also solves the initialization problem that appeared sometimes in the Backup And Restore widget.
