Last month, Samsung released the beta version of One UI 8.5, the newest iteration of One UI for Galaxy phones and tablets, for the Galaxy S25 series, the first set of phones to get it. The new software brings a redesigned user interface and many new features.
The future beta and stable versions of One UI 8.5 are expected to bring even more features. One of them is Now Nudge. It was spotted for the first time in November. Well, we are now getting a better look at it, thanks to the official demonstration video.
On X, Tarun Vats has posted a screen recording from what seems to be the Galaxy AI Now Nudge settings section. It demonstrates how the feature works in a video. You can check it out below.
As you can see, Now Nudge can analyse what’s on the screen in real time and suggest useful actions. For example, when you are chatting with someone, and the other person asks when you will be available, Now Nudge can show the ‘Open Calendar‘ button above the keyboard, as well as check the calendar, analyse when you are available at the earliest, and suggest that time.
Next, when you are filling out a form and are in the name section, it can suggest your name. Likewise, when you are in the email, phone, and address sections, it will suggest those details. Sadly, there's no information if Samsung will keep it exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series or expand it to older devices. If the latter is the case, we don't know if the brand will offer it with the next beta or stable version.
