Samsung updates Good Lock's QuickStar with One UI 8.5 support

Samsung has released a new version of one of Good Lock's modules, QuickStar. It makes the app compatible with One UI 8.5.

Since Samsung released the beta version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 series (Android 16 QPR2), the brand has been updating its apps for Galaxy smartphones to work with the new software, including Good Lock plugins.

While Samsung updated many Good Lock modules, including Display Assistant, NavStar, One Hand Operation+, and Theme Park, there were still some that it didn’t update. One of them was the QuickStar. Well, not anymore.

Samsung has announced that it is releasing an update to the Quick Star app. It makes the app compatible with One UI 8.5. However, Samsung notes that while the app now works with the new software, its ability to ‘Change the arrangement of the Quick Settings window buttons’ doesn’t work.

In addition to that, the South Korean tech giant says that it will soon be releasing updates to Good Lock’s HomeUp, LockStar, and NotiStar modules to make them compatible with One UI 8.5. To get the latest QuickStar update, go to the Galaxy Store, tap on the menu icon, and select Updates.
