Samsung officially released the Galaxy Z TriFold earlier this month. The handset was first released in South Korea on December 12. Samsung had confirmed the markets where this device will be offered, promising to make it available over the next few weeks.

Customers in the United Arab Emirates can now get their hands on Samsung's first tri-fold phone through local carrier e&, also known as Etisalat.

Samsung to release the device in more markets soon

Samsung had previously confirmed that in addition to its home country, the Galaxy Z TriFold will be released in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Taiwan, and China.

It began displaying the device at its stores in the United Arab Emirates soon after the device was formally unveiled earlier this month. Interested customers could go hands on with the device at Samsung's Dubai Mall store.

Those who have been waiting for it to arrive can now go ahead and open up their wallets. Samsung is selling the device in the UAE for 11,999 AED which is equivalent to $3,267. It's priced a bit on the higher side in this market, as Samsung is charging the equivalent of $2,500 in South Korea.

Pricing will vary based on the market so it remains to be seen how much Samsung charges for it in the United States, where it would be the only tri-fold phone available to customers.

As was to be expected, the Galaxy Z TriFold is already sold out on e&'s website, since this handset is only being made available in very limited quantities. Customers can try their luck at Samsung and the carrier's stores, but it's unclear when it will be back in stock online.
