A few days ago, Samsung released the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 6 series. However, the update was only available for the Wi-Fi-only variants of devices in those lineups, and owners of LTE variants of those watches were left waiting for the update in some countries. The update is now finally available in more markets, including India.

The LTE variants of the Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6, and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic have started getting the Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch update in India. The Galaxy Watch 6 series got the update last week, while the Galaxy Watch 5 series begun getting the update yesterday. If you have an LTE variant of the Galaxy Watch 5 series or the Galaxy Watch 6 series and live in India, you can now check for the update by opening the Galaxy Wearable app and navigating to Watch settings > Watch software update and tapping Download and install.
