The Galaxy Z TriFold has a massive 10-inch display, putting it firmly in the tablet-sized category. It provides incredible screen real estate that would be great to use the S Pen on.
While Samsung did offer S Pen support on previous Galaxy Z Fold devices, it hasn't been too keen on keeping that up on recent models. It's a similar story for the company's first tri-fold device.
Samsung has confirmed on its website that the Galaxy Z TriFold doesn't have S Pen support. We already know that despite all of the surprises inside the Galaxy Z TriFold's box, the S Pen is not one of them.
Some fans of the stylus might have thought that it would be possible to use one purchased separately, but that isn't the case as well. You simply can't use an S Pen with the Galaxy Z TriFold's inner foldable display.
That's hardly surprising, because the Galaxy Z Fold 7 doesn't have S Pen support either. Samsung is moving away from stylus support on its foldables because perhaps the company feels it's not really worth keeping it around.
Some might feel that this is a missed opportunity, that Samsung should have offered this functionality as it makes perfect sense on the Galaxy Z TriFold. Be that as it may, the company doesn't really seem to be in the mood to keep the S Pen around for its foldables. Could the situation change in the future? Only time will tell.
