The seemingly endless rumors about Samsung's first trifold phone have been put to rest today. Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z TriFold, expanding its foldable form factors to now offer three distinct styles.
The announcement was accompanied by the official Galaxy Z TriFold price and release details. They finally end the mystery around how much this device will cost and when it will be available.
Samsung's home country of South Korea will be the first country to get this device. The Galaxy Z TriFold will be released in South Korea on December 12. Prices start at KRW 3,590,400 which is roughly $2,500.
No concrete release dates have been provided for other markets but the company has given some guidance. The Galaxy Z TriFold will be available in China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates before the end of this month. Samsung will release this handset in the United States as well at some point in the first quarter of 2026, so between January – March.
Local pricing may vary a bit but will ultimately be around the $2,500 benchmark. At least the official pricing information has proven wrong rumors which had claimed that the Galaxy Z TriFold will cost $3,000. At this price, it's only $700 more expensive compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Customers will be able to get their hands on the device at select Samsung stores in these launch countries, so they can take it for a spin before deciding to open up their wallets.
