Samsung makes some incredible OLED monitors. Each year, the company launches faster, smoother, and brighter gaming monitors, and for 2026, the company is making a new Odyssey OLED G6 monitor, which will likely be its cheapest OLED gaming monitor.
Samsung has received the NRRA certification for its next-generation Odyssey OLED G6 gaming monitor. The folks over at DisplaySpecifications spotted it in the NRRA database with model number S27HG61. Looking at the model number, it is the successor to this year's Odyssey OLED G6, which comes with model number S27FG60. It likely has a 27-inch QHD resolution QD-OLED display.
It isn't clear from the NRRA certification which new features Samsung will bring with its upcoming Odyssey OLED G6 monitor, but we can expect improved peak and sustained brightness levels, a higher tier of DisplayHDR certification, and some software improvements.
The current-generation Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a QD-OLED panel and QHD resolution. It has a 240Hz refresh rate and support for up to a billion colors. It has HDR10 and HDR10+ support for displaying high dynamic range images, videos, and games. It has a height-adjustable stand with pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments.
