Filipino and Gujarati make Galaxy AI useful for 100 million+ potential users.

Samsung announced recently that it is making Galaxy AI even more useful by adding support for two more languages: Filipino and Gujarati. This move makes the AI features accessible to millions of new users, as Filipino is spoken by around 87 million people and Gujarati by about 62.5 million.
With their addition, Galaxy AI now supports 22 languages across features like Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Transcript Assist, Note Assist, and Browsing Assist.
Samsung says it worked with its research centers in India and Indonesia to bring these new languages to life, continuing its push to make Galaxy AI available to as many people as possible. The company also reiterated its plan to bring Galaxy AI to over 400 million Galaxy devices by the end of the year.
The new languages are now available to download. To get them, open Settings > General management > Language packs on your Galaxy phone or tablet, then tap the download button next to the language you want.
Naturally, you’ll need a device that supports Galaxy AI, which includes every flagship released since 2023. Flagships launched in 2022 get a very limited Galaxy AI experience, but the languages should be available on those devices as well.
