One of the key strengths of Samsung's Galaxy AI suite, particularly when compared to the competition, is its comprehensive language support. The company went the extra mile to make Galaxy AI as multilingual as possible, and today, Samsung welcomes two new languages: Filipino and Gujarati.
Filipino and Gujarati languages are spoken by approximately 87 million and 62.5 million people, respectively. And with their addition to Galaxy AI, the powerful tool now accounts for languages spoken by nearly 5.9 billion people globally.
In total, Galaxy AI now supports 22 languages for tools like Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Transcript Assist, Note Assist, and Browsing Assist. Supported languages now include:
Any of these Galaxy AI-supported languages can be downloaded as language packs via the Settings app.
Samsung says that the Filipino and Gujarati languages were added to the Galaxy AI suite in close collaboration with Samsung Research centers located in Indonesia and India.
The company also took this opportunity to remind fans of its goal to bring Galaxy AI to over 400 million devices by the end of the year.
