Galaxy S23 FE's One UI 8 update goes international

Samsung has released the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy S23 FE in Europe. Here are more details.

Last week, Samsung released the much-awaited One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update to the Galaxy S23 FE. However, the brand had rolled it out only in its home country, South Korea.

Now, Samsung has made the update available in Europe too (via Tarun Vats). It carries firmware version S711BXXUAFYI6. You can get it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

One UI 8.0 offers a new user interface design in a few places, which makes the software look cleaner, more organised, and modern, as well as many new features. You can read the complete list of features here or check them out in action in our video below.

According to Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout schedule for Brazil, the Galaxy S23 FE was supposed to get the update in the week of 2 October 2025. That’s when we expected the brand to release the update in other regions, including Europe, too, and the company has rolled out the update right on time, just like it had promised.
