We have some great news about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Book 6 laptops, namely the Pro and the Ultra variants. Among the upgrades you might expect, both the Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra seem to have larger batteries than their predecessors.
Combined with more energy-efficient hardware, the upcoming Galaxy Book 6 series could potentially deliver significant battery life upgrades. Check out the comparison below.
Here is what the existing Galaxy Book 5 Pro and Book 4 Ultra offer. Remember that there was never a Galaxy Book 5 Ultra model.
And here are the watt-hour specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 Ultra batteries.
Needless to say, the Galaxy Book 6 series will feature larger batteries. So, in theory, they should last longer than the current models on a full battery charge.
However, there's no guarantee in that regard. It's all a balancing act when it comes to laptops and performance per watt. More power-hungry hardware components could even out the beefier batteries. Or the new Book 6 models could employ more power-efficient hardware, leading to substantial battery life gains.
Regardless, what we can say is that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Book 6 laptops seem to be moving in the right direction.
And yes, this information also reconfirms that Samsung is working on bringing back the Ultra laptop model after skipping it for the Book 5 series. Presumably, the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra will have a powerful dedicated GPU.
Other details remain unknown for now, but we will keep you updated as soon as we have more information to share.
