Last week, Samsung added sixty pieces of iconic artworks from the Cultured Magazine to the Samsung Art Store. Now, the brand is expanding the art collection for QLED, The Frame, and The Frame Pro TVs even further with artworks from the United Kingdom’s Tate Collection.
Samsung has announced that it is adding fifteen pieces of artwork from the Tate Collection to the Samsung Art Store. These artworks come from iconic modern artists, including Henri Matisse, Salvador Dalí, Mark Rothko, Roy Lichtenstein, Peter Doig, and Beatriz Milhazes.
Samsung says among these artworks, there are Roy Lichtenstein’s ‘Whaam!,' Henri Matisse’s ‘The Snail,' and Jackson Pollock’s ‘Yellow Islands,' which are a must-see in Tate’s permanent collection. Whereas Peter Doig’s ‘Echo Lake' and ‘Ski Jacket' offer a “glimpse into the breadth and energy of modern and contemporary art.” You can check out some of them in the images below.
Commenting on the milestone, Samsung’s Vice President of the Visual Display Business, Heeyeong Ahn, said, “Samsung Art Store is dedicated to providing people with the opportunity to experience world-class art in the comfort of their living rooms. By expanding our offerings to pieces from Tate, we are taking another step in supporting the irreplaceable experience of seeing art in person.”
