Yesterday, we brought you news of a no-trade-in deal for the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). At that time, the standard Watch 8 and the Watch 8 Classic weren't cheaper than usual, but today, Samsung introduced a couple of new limited-time discounts for the Watch 8 duo. Here's all you need to know.
As usual, you can exchange an older smartwatch for a hefty discount on the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic in the USA. On the other hand, if you don't want to use the trade-in program, Samsung USA will now cut you a $20 or $30 no-trade-in deal on the Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, respectively.
It's not a lot, but these are brand-new smartwatches, so it's expected for them to maintain their launch prices for a while. Then again, if you want to use the trade-in program, you can save up to $200 and up to $250 on the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic.
On a final note, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, in particular, is paired with an exclusive bundle deal that lets you save 30% on a second wristband. You can choose the band type, size, and color, so you can really make it your own and add more customization to your smartwatch experience.
Apart from looking different than the base model, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has a physical rotating bezel that controls the UI. This model is available exclusively in a 46mm size.
If you need a smaller smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 8 comes in 44mm and 44mm sizes. The standard model doesn't have a rotating bezel but has a slicker design.

Overall, it all comes down to personal preferences. Fortunately, both smartwatches use the same Dynamic Lug wristband system and have the same hardware and fitness tracking capabilities. So, pick whichever one you like best.
