For many years now, Samsung has been selling the highest number of smart TVs among all the brands globally. As such, there are a ton of applications available for its models. More importantly, developers consistently push updates to these apps to offer new features and a better user experience.

So, it is crucial to keep the apps up-to-date to make the most out of Samsung TVs. On units with auto-update enabled, Tizen OS automatically updates the app to the latest version periodically. However, on models with auto-update disabled, you may have to do it manually, and if you don't know how to do it, here's a step-by-step process.

  1. On your Samsung TV’s remote, press the home button.
  2. On the home screen, go the ‘Apps’ tab (located at the top-right corner)
  3. In the Apps tab, scroll down to the bottom and select ‘App Settings.
  4. Select the ‘Update All’ option at the top-right corner. Note that you will be able to click this button only if there are updates available for apps. Else, it will be greyed-out.
  5. Samsung TV will now update all the apps to their latest version.
