Apart from the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and its AI-friendly, compact 4.1-inch display, the standard Galaxy S25 remains Samsung's best small-screen phone. But thanks to a new discount at Samsung's e-shop in the USA, you can buy the Galaxy S25 for $380 less than the Z Flip 7.

The 6.2-inch Galaxy S25 with 128GB of storage now starts at $719 if you choose the no-trade-in option. The 256GB variant is also cheaper, and you can now buy it for $779 without a trade-in.

These offers are valid regardless of whether you buy the Galaxy S25 through a one-time payment, a 24-month Samsung Financing plan, or through four installments, one every two weeks.

If, however, you prefer taking the trade-in route, you can buy the Galaxy S25 for as low as $306. But you will have to exchange an iPhone 16 to get the best possible trade-in discount. Of course, other offers are available.

Lastly, Samsung has also added its latest smartwatches to the Galaxy S25's bundle deal category. If you buy the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, or 2025 Watch Ultra together with the Galaxy S25, you save 20% on the new wearables.

Why the Galaxy S25 is still a good buy right now

Until Samsung unveils the Galaxy S26 next year, the Galaxy S25 will remain the best small-screen, non-foldable flagship phone in the company's lineup. Here are some of its best features.

  • The Galaxy S25 has the same chip as the S25 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
  • It has the same camera system as the S25+.
  • The 6.2-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X display is fantastic, with a peak brightness level of 2,600 nits.
  • Awesome build quality.
  • It will be the first to receive the Android 16-based One UI 8 update — excluding the latest foldables, which ship with One UI 8 out of the factory.

Although the Galaxy S25+ is technically a better option thanks to its larger screen and battery, the standard S25 is the better choice if you prioritize compactness over those two features. And, of course, the Galaxy S25 is cheaper than its larger sibling, with and without this deal in the USA.
