Samsung is now rolling out a new version of its Internet browser app. It's not version 19 coming out of beta, but it addresses a bug that prevented bookmarks from showing in Samsung Internet on some devices.

The new update pushes Samsung Internet to version 18.0.4.14. In addition to fixing the bookmarks issue for some customers, the latest Internet browser version also improves stability and brings the most recent security patches.

Version 18.0.4.14 is a relatively minor update unless you were having issues with bookmarks, in which case, it's probably a most-welcomed release. The changelog doesn't specify which Galaxy devices were having issues with Samsung Internet bookmarks prior to this update, so feel free to let us know in the comment section if you've experienced this problem with Internet on your device.

In the meantime, Samsung is testing new features in Internet 19.0 beta, including the long-awaited Chrome bookmark syncing feature. There's no word on when this version might leave the beta stages and hit the public version of the app, but if you don't want to wait any longer, you can download the beta build from the Play Store without having to remove the live version.
