Guild Esports and Samsung have extended their partnership and agreed on a one-year sponsorship deal for Samsung to become the esports team's official TV partner. Some readers might recall that Guild Esports signed its first sponsorship deal with Samsung a little over a year ago. Now, the same esports team owned by former football player David Beckham has managed to get Samsung on board for another year.

Samsung will be providing a selection of Neo QLED TVs (2022) for the Guild Academy and the Guild's future headquarters. Guild Esports plans to establish a new HQ in Shoreditch, London, by the end of 2022. The new headquarters should offer an area of around 9,831 square feet (~3,000m2), and Samsung will have marketing rights across the facilities, social and digital content, content creators, influencers, and the Guild's professional players. Empowering gamers with the latest Samsung technologies

Samsung's latest Neo QLED TVs are seemingly the perfect fit for a gaming guild's headquarters. They come with Samsung's Game Hub, which allows users to play quality video games from the cloud without any extra hardware. In addition, these TVs can also help users stretch and stay fit through Samsung Health.

The Neo QLED TVs have low latency, and Samsung even demonstrated a sim racing rig based on three Neo QLED TVs back in June.

“Samsung is the ideal partner for Guild, given its world-leading technology, focus on innovation, and providing people with the best possible entertainment experience,” said Rory Morgan, Director of Global Partnership at Guild Esports.

Meanwhile, Samsung says that its first year as an official Guild Esports partner “has been a huge success.” The company is looking forward to “providing an even better range of products” to Guild's content creators and pro players.

The Galaxy experience can be messy for first-time users

Some say it's always better to have more options, but it's never as clear-cut as it sounds. This design philosophy doesn't always work, and more importantly, it isn't a magical shortcut that can patch everything up and always lead to a better user experience. On the contrary, if not handled properly, I believe the “more […]
