Samsung has announced that it has partnered with Leeum Museum of Art, situated in Seoul, South Korea, to bring more artworks to The Frame TV. This tie-up has brought 17 new paintings to the company's lifestyle TV lineup via Samsung's Art Store.

The new art collection consists of Gunseondo (Taoist Immortals), which is considered to be Gim Hong-do's greatest masterpiece. He was a full-time painter of the Joseon period of South Korea. The art collection also consists of paintings like the Original Phoenix Gate, Daebanggwangbulhwaeomsutra Volume 31, and Gyeonggi Gamyeongdo from the late Joseon Dynasty.

These new artworks feature elaborate patterns and beautiful color expressions, which would appear perfectly on TheFrame'ss 4K QLED screen. Users can either buy the digital versions of these paintings or subscribe to Samsung's Art Store to access over 1,600 art pieces from over 50 partners worldwide.

Lee Kwang-bae, the Senior Researcher at Leeum Museum of Art, said,” Due to the nature of antique artwork that must be installed in a glass showcase for preservation and safety reasons, it is often difficult for visitors to see the details of the artwork. You will be able to enjoy the delicate beauty that is present.”

The Leeum, also known as the Samsung Museum of Art, is run by the Samsung Foundation of Culture. Its collection includes ancient Korean paintings and artworks, including 36 pieces that are designated national treasures of South Korea.
