Samsung started rolling out the March 2024 security patch to the Galaxy S23 FE with the carrier-locked variant of the smartphone for the US. A day later, the company released it for the international version of the device. Now, Samsung is making the security update available for the carrier-unlocked variant of the phone for the US (SM-S711B).
With the new software update, the firmware version should change to S711U1UES2BXBF. The March 2024 security patch contains fixes for nine security issues from Samsung's end and many vulnerabilities from Google's end. The update is live for devices on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, C-Spire, Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, DISH, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, Tracfone, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.
You can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you don't see an update but want it anyhow, you can download the firmware from our archive and install it using a Windows PC and Odin. Samsung will soon start rolling out One UI 6.1, and Galaxy S23 FE is eligible to get it. We’ll notify you when the update becomes available. So, stay tuned.
