Samsung might be getting ready to bring the Galaxy Book 4 laptop series to India soon. Reports from local media outlets are cropping up online, saying the Galaxy Book 4 lineup will most likely become available for pre-order in the coming weeks.

There's no official word on the matter from Samsung, but the latest rumor states that Galaxy Book 4 laptops will first enter a pre-order period in mid-February before sales start later this month.

The same report (via Hans India) also suggests that prospective buyers in India may have to wait longer for the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra variant to go on sale. The Book 4 Pro and Pro 360 may be the only ones to debut in mid-February, with the Ultra model following at a later unspecified date.

What does the Galaxy Book 4 series cost in other markets?

There's no new information on what the Galaxy Book 4 laptops might cost in India. However, Samsung originally announced the Galaxy Book 4 Pro, Book 4 Pro 360, and Book 4 Ultra in mid-December, and prices for Korea have been known for some time.

As a point of reference, in Korea, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro starts at 1.88 million won ($1,412). The Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, which has a 2-in-1 design with a 360-degree hinge, costs $2.59 ($1,946) million won and up. And the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra costs 3.36 million won ($2,524) or more, depending on specifications.

Prices in India may differ, but this is what these powerful laptops cost in Korea. However, it remains to be determined which hardware configurations will be available in India once the Galaxy Book 4 series hits the online store.

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Pro 360 come with 120Hz touchscreens that can reach 400 nits of brightness and cover 120% DCI-P3 color volume. In Korea, they can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 CPU, each with Intel Arc graphics.

The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is the top-of-the-range and the only model that offers an Intel Core Ultra 9 configuration with up to 64GB of RAM and a choice between GeForce RTX 4050 and RTX 4070 graphics chips.
