Samsung's One UI 6 update is reaching more Galaxy devices this week, and it is also expanding to more markets for devices that have already been updated to One UI 6.

The Galaxy M53 is getting the Android 14-based One UI 6 update in India today; the update sports firmware version M536BXXU4DWL2 and includes the November 2023 security patch.

The initial One UI 6 release for the Galaxy M53 happened a month ago in Russia, and Samsung has been rather slow at bringing it to customers in other countries (which is something that applies to other Galaxy devices as well). But that will hopefully change in the coming days.

Like any other update, you can download Android 14/One UI 6 by opening the Settings app on your phone, selecting Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also opt to upgrade your phone by downloading the latest firmware from the SamMobile archive and install it using a USB connection on a Windows PC.
