Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24, in January next year. Ahead of the launch, most of the features of the devices in the lineup have been revealed through several reports and rumors. Leading up to the launch, the Galaxy S24 is passing through several necessary certifications.

Galaxy S24 Ultra clears safety certification in South Korea

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has cleared the safety certification through the Korea Testing & Research Institute. The Korean version of the smartphone, carrying model number SM-S928N, cleared the certification on November 20. Every device that is to be sold in South Korea needs to pass the KC mark, and the Korea Testing & Research Institute offers that certification. The device tested was manufactured by Samsung Electronics' Gumi plant in Gyeongbuk and the Thai Nguyen plant in Vietnam.

Last month, the Galaxy S24 Ultra's S Pen, featuring model number EJ-PS928, cleared the National Radio Research Institute certification. The phone also passed the Anatel certification on the 24th of October. Anatel is a Brazilian certification agency for smartphones and other mobile devices.
