Last week, Rockstar Games made the first announcement about the arrival of the next game in the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, which is expected to be called Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). The game developer revealed that it will release the first trailer of GTA 6 early next month (December 2023). In an attempt to create hype around the upcoming trailer (and the game), Rockstar has now created a playlist on Spotify, called Grand Theft Auto Radio, that contains 100 songs curated from all the previous GTA titles.
The playlist takes you on a trip down memory lane, reminding you of all the GTA titles in the past, and indulges you in some nostalgia. Some people might say that it is quite essential as they would never look back at those games once GTA 6 arrives. According to Rockstar, the playlist reveals “hidden gems and classics from your favorite songs and artists from across every station in the Grand Theft Auto series based on your Spotify listening preferences.” Click here to listen to the Grand Theft Audio Radio.
According to various reports, Rockstar will release GTA 6 in 2024. However, the exact timeframe for the launch is unknown. The upcoming game is one of the most anticipated titles, especially due to the success of GTA V and because of the fact that it has been ten years since the launch of the last game in the series. According to a leaked gameplay video of GTA 6, the game is set in Vice City Metro, which is Rockstar’s fictionized version of Miami. It has two playable characters, one male and one female, Lucia and Jason.
