After launching it in Malaysia a few days ago, Samsung has launched the Galaxy A05s in India. The affordable smartphone comes with a much more powerful processor than its predecessor, the Galaxy A04s. Apart from the new processor, the Galaxy A05s also comes with a bigger and higher resolution screen, a triple-camera setup on the rear, and features faster charging.

    Galaxy A05s specifications

The Galaxy A05s sports a 6.7-inch LCD screen with Full HD resolution and a U-shaped notch. It has a 13MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. It can record Full HD videos at 60fps and HD slow-motion videos at 120fps. It comes equipped with a decently powerful Snapdragon 680 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot. This new processor is a lot faster than the Exynos 850 used in the Galaxy A04s.

It has Dolby Atmos audio, too, for earphones.

    Galaxy A05s pricing for India

You can choose from three Galaxy A05s colors: Black, Light Green, and Light Violet. It is priced at INR 14,999 ($180) via Samsung India’s website. If you use an SBI credit card, you can get a discount of INR 1,000 ($12).
