Samsung is bringing three new channels to its AVoD (Advertising Video on Demand) TV Plus platform. The company is expanding its partnership with Blue Ant Media through a multi-year agreement to launch three channels, including Homeful, HauntTV, and Love Pets, in several markets.

Homeful is a TV channel focused on home renovation and design. Thanks to the new partnership, this Blue Ant channel is now available to Samsung TV Plus users in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Brazil.

    • Homeful includes numerous Mike Holmes shows, Sarah Off the Grid, Coolest Places to Stay, Brojects, and Moving the McGillivrays.

HauntTV, which was released in Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand earlier this year, is now coming to Samsung TV Plus in the USA. It's a paranormal-themed channel, and it couldn't have come at a better time, given that Halloween is just around the corner.

    • Samsung TV Plus users can watch HauntTV programming such as Haunted Gold Rush, Hotel Paranormal, Ghost Chasers, Ghost Encounters, World's Scariest Hauntings, and Paranormal Survivor.

Last but not least, Love Pets is now available in the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. As the name suggests, this new TV channel is perfect for loving pet owners.

    • Programs on Love Pets include Bondi Vet, Vet on the Hill, ER Vets, The Bizarre Pet Vets, and Hope for Wildlife.

Samsung TV Plus has a reach of more than 500 million devices

Since its original release in 2015, Samsung TV Plus has grown to more than 2,000 channels across 24 countries, and during an interview in August, the Korean tech giant said the platform's success “continues to skyrocket.”

As of June 2023, Samsung TV Plus crossed the 500 million device mark. That's right. The platform is available on more than half a billion devices worldwide, and Samsung says it recorded three billion hours of accumulated viewing time in 2022.
