A few days ago, Samsung revealed that it plans to release the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 before the end of September. However, it looks like the company has hit a snag, and it has changed its plans for the release of the update.

Samsung's official forum moderator has revealed that the company has postponed the release of the One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The update will be released next month, and the delay is due to the Chuseok holiday in South Korea. Chuseok is a major mid-autumn harvest festival with a three-day holiday, and this year, the holidays start from tomorrow.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 will get One UI 6.0 beta update in October

The update may be released first in South Korea and then in other countries, including China, Germany, India, Poland, the UK, and the US. If you want to beta-test the One UI 6.0 beta test on your Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone, you need to install the Samsung Members app, log into the app using your Samsung account, and click on the One UI 6.0 Beta Program banner on the app's home screen.

One UI 6.0 is based on Android 14, and it brings several design changes and new features. The design of the quick setting toggles area has changed. All the stock apps have received new features. The stock Camera app has received a major redesign after years, and it is now easier to use. The Share Sheet has received a new design and more features that change based on the app that's being used.
