Samsung is trying to entice Malaysians to buy a Bespoke refrigerator, and it's not holding back. The company is organizing a sweepstake wherein participants can win a sports car worth RM 283,800 ($62,200), namely a BMW 320i M Sport.

Participants can also win special and consolation prizes. Special prizes include 20 Bespoke Jet Complete vacuum cleaners and 30 Bespoke 30L Grill microwave ovens. The Bespoke Jet Complete is worth RM 3,699 ($811) in Malaysia, and the Bespoke 30L Brill microwave oven usually costs RM 799 ($175).

Here's all you need to do for a chance to win a BMW from Samsung

The sweepstake is open until October 15. Everyone buying a Samsung Bespoke refrigerator during the contest period can enter the sweepstake by following Samsung Malaysia on Instagram, liking and sharing the contest post, tagging three friends, and writing a creative comment on why you should win.

Each customer gets one entry to the sweepstake, which means you can't increase your chances of winning the BMW sports car by purchasing more than one Bespoke fridge. So, you can't have multiple entries if, for example, you buy two fridges for you and a family member.

As usual, terms and conditions apply, but that's the gist of it. As long as you follow those steps and buy your Bespoke fridge from Samsung Malaysia or authorized retail dealers and online stores before October 15, you have a chance to drive away with a new BMW 320i M Sport.

The fact that Samsung chose the BMW brand as the grand prize is not that surprising. The Korean tech giant seems fascinated with the BMW M badge. In February, Samsung released a limited-run Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition bundle in South Korea. It came in a box shaped like the BMW M3 E30 (or part of it). Only 1,000 units were produced. Nevertheless, offering an actual BMW M car as a grand prize for a sweepstake is a big event, even for Samsung.
