Samsung has launched its massive 110-inch Micro LED TV in India. The new TV carries a price tag of a whopping INR 11,499,000 (around $139,103), which means only a few elite consumers can buy it. It is the South Korean firm's biggest TV ever, and it uses the next-generation Micro LED display technology for perfect picture quality.

    Samsung Micro LED TV features

Micro LED is a new technology that offers the best of LCD and OLED technologies. It means it has brightness levels and reliability similar to LCD TVs while maintaining OLED TV-like perfect blacks and deep colors. It doesn't suffer from the pixel burn-in issues that OLED TVs face in the long term. Micro LED TVs can also sustain high brightness levels for a long time. Samsung's new Micro LED TV has 24.8 million micrometer-sized LEDs (higher than 6K resolution) that can produce their own backlight and color. Made from sapphire material, these LEDs are 1/10th the size of regular LEDs used in conventional LCD TVs for backlighting.

The new TV features a Monolith Design, allowing it to blend into any home decor styling. It has invisible bezels and no-gap slim edges for a futuristic design. With its Ambient Mode+ and Art Mode, the TV can be turned into a giant art display wall. It features a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 20-bit processing, Multi-Intelligence AI Upscaling, Scene Adaptive Contrast, and Dynamic Range Expansion+. Users can watch four different 4K video streams simultaneously at 120fps.

In terms of audio, Samsung's Micro LED TV has Arena Sound. It combines the TV's built-in 5.1-channel speaker system and three audio technologies: OTS Pro, Dolby Atmos, and Q-Symphony. The TV also comes with SolarCell Remote that can charge the built-in battery using ambient light, sunlight, and even nearby radio waves. It can also be charged using a USB Type-C port. The TV runs Tizen OS and has access to all popular audio and video streaming services. It also features SmartThings Hub, Samsung Health, Samsung TV+, Bixby, and more.

Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung India, said, “With the introduction of Micro LED, a technological and design masterpiece, our aim is to offer consumers with an unparalleled immersive viewing experience. We are pleased to present the Micro LED as a means to reimagine immersive entertainment, offering consumers an unrivaled and captivating viewing experience.
