Samsung revealed multiple assistance robots three years ago during its CES 2020 keynote event. Those robots included the GEMS Exoskeleton and the pet walking assistant. However, they haven't been launched yet, but Samsung is getting closer to their release and has started filing various patents related to robotics.

PulseNews reports that Samsung has filed various robotics-related patents in the US, including a technology that can monitor pets' movements and detect their emotions. This robot is round and has two wheels. It can move with pets and monitor them in real time. It can detect their emotions and even move with pet owners based on data. It has cameras and microphones to detect people, pets, and other objects and listen to ambient sounds.

Samsung also reportedly filed a patent for an assistance robot that a human can wear. This walking assistance robot is said to be a part of BotFit, a Samsung firm that focuses on healthcare robots. It can help older people and people with limited mobility. It can help in the movement as per pre-programmed routes. Even in the case of communication error, it works safely and seamlessly, thanks to the ISO 13849 certification. The South Korean firm is trying to launch it later this year.

The South Korean firm is also working on a robot finger and a spray robot. The robotic finger has two fingers with built-in sensors to grab and hold objects. It can help with household chores. The spray robot can spray disinfectants in public places affected by contagious diseases.
