This issue prevents users from using their second account on the cloned WhatsApp Dual Messenger app. By the looks of it, it seems like a software bug was present in the March 2023 security update released sometime back. Since the March 2023 security update still hasn't rolled out to many Galaxy devices, the issue isn't widely spread. However, it is troubling the users who have received the update.
The good part is that Samsung took the matter into its hands and responded to the user's complaint. A Samsung moderator has provided a troubleshooting guide that could possibly help you fix the WhatsApp clone not working on your Galaxy devices problem. According to the moderator, you should try clearing the WhatsApp app cache. This can be done by heading to Settings » Apps » WhatsApp » Force Stop and tapping on Clear Cache. The next solution would be to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp on your Galaxy device.
The third solution suggested by the moderator is to wipe the cache partition. The system cache partition stores temporary system data, which, if it gets cluttered or corrupt, can cause several issues. Finally, the moderator suggests that you perform a factory reset.
