The Samsung Galaxy S23 series was unveiled earlier this month, and the phone is all set to officially hit shelves this week. However, some early buyers on Google support forums have reported that they are facing Android Auto connection errors. The error has been reported by Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and even Galaxy S23 Ultra owners.

Reportedly, users of the Galaxy S23 series aren't able to connect and use Android Auto with their smartphones. Other devices work without any issues with Android Auto in the same car. Multiple users also took to Reddit to report the same issue. As reported by 9To5Google, the issues are fixed when the Galaxy S23 is connected manually via Bluetooth.

Neither Samsung nor Google have acknowledged this issue yet

By the looks of it, a good chunk of early Galaxy S23 buyers is affected by this issue. There is no official acknowledgment from Samsung or from Google regarding this issue at the moment.

It's pertinent to note that similar issues were also witnessed soon after the Galaxy S22's launch last year. It took a couple of months for Samsung to send out a software update to fix the Android Auto problems.

There is no information regarding the root cause of this connection error on the Galaxy S23 series. But it isn't so big that it cannot be resolved via a software update from Samsung or Google. If you are facing Android Auto connection errors with your Galaxy S23 smartphone, then you can also report them with all the required details on the Google support forum.
