The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a wide-screen form factor, making it shorter and wider than most book-style foldable phones, including earlier Galaxy Z Fold models and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
It is expected to have a sleek Armor Aluminum frame and a foldable design. The phone will likely carry an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance, while the cover display is expected to be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The rumored dimensions are:
When folded, the device offers a 5.4-inch bezel-less cover display. When unfolded, it reveals a 7.6-inch foldable display. Both screens are expected to use LTPO OLED panels with a 1Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate, HDR10+, and peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits.
With stereo speakers and a wider 4:3 aspect ratio, the device should offer an excellent experience for video consumption.
Cameras
Reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will feature a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with an F1.8 aperture and a 50MP ultrawide camera with an F1.9 aperture. It is also expected to have a 10MP front-facing camera on both the cover and inner displays.
The primary camera will likely include OIS and dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus, while the 50MP ultrawide camera may feature dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus. The front-facing cameras are expected to lack autofocus and OIS.
All cameras are likely to support 4K 60fps video recording, while the rear cameras may also support up to 8K 30fps recording. HDR10+ and Super HDR video recording are also expected.

Pricing and availability
