It's time for the newest Galaxy flagships to be receiving the latest Android security patch. Samsung has released a Galaxy S9 update in a few markets in Europe that includes the June 2018 security patch. Unlike the last update, this one only has security fixes to offer and comes with build number G960FXXS1BRF3.
New Galaxy S9 update is making the rounds
We can confirm that the update is currently available in at least Poland, Germany, and Italy, and it shouldn't be long before more countries in the European continent and in other regions around the world join the party. If you have a Galaxy S9 or S9+, you can see if the update has arrived for your device from the Software update menu in the Settings app. If it doesn't show up, try again in a few hours and in the next couple of days. We also have the firmware in our database for the aforementioned countries (Galaxy S9 | Galaxy S9+), which you can use to update manually using your laptop or desktop computer.
