Samsung launched Samsung Pay in India earlier this year, supporting credit and debit cards from major banks in the country. The company also started offering cashback and discounts for consumers who transacted using its mobile payment solution. Samsung also launched a cut-down version of Samsung Pay in India that works with lower-priced Galaxy smartphones such as the Galaxy J7 Max and the Galaxy On Max.
Samsung Pay supports cards from American Express, Axis Bank, Citibank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, and Standard Chartered Bank as well. It also supports mobile wallets such as Paytm and MobiKwik. Earlier, debit cards from SBI weren't supported, but the compatibility was added at a later stage. Hope that the same happens with debit cards from Yes Bank.
