The Samsung Keyboard app is now available on the Play Store

Samsung Keyboard is the latest proprietary Samsung app to be published on the Play Store, so you can grab the latest updates without waiting for an update to the operating system itself. The app seems to have been put up on the Play Store late last month; for now, it’s only supported on the Galaxy S8 and S8+, but support for more devices will no doubt be added in the future.

If you own a Galaxy S8 or S8+, you should see an update for Samsung Keyboard available on Google Play. The update doesn’t have anything other than bug fixes or improvements, but future updates should have more to offer. Hit the source link to find Samsung Keyboard on the Play Store, and let us know if you find it working on any other device that you may be using.

I not using S8, but i hope that ‘fix’ capitalize when i input user name or e mail on log in page.
Some website case sensitive with user name, so log in will failed, so i need press shift key twice.
On my previous Samsung device keyboard will not capitalize when in log in page.

US S8 is not compatible.

They have fixed one bug where a letter after a closed bracket would be capitalised but there is one more (or two more) bugs still remaining concerning the ” and ‘ where they get deleted if auto correct detects them at the end of a word.

If I type “hello” then the ” at the end vanishes when I press the space bar as autocorrect sees the ” as part of the word. The same goes for ‘hello’ too.

I was wondering why my S8+ wasn’t showing the update. Turns out the store says my device isn’t compatible. This is TouchWiz Home all over again.

That’s strange as it shows for my S8+ in the UK.

Looks like it’s a region issue. I’m in the US.

As usual Samsung is ridiculous as it makes things decent only on its newer phones and not on the slightly older models (s7 and s8 for example)..
