Samsung's latest smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, earned top ratings in a recent US consumer smartphone review, reveals The Investor. The handsets received 82 points each in the Consumer Reports survey, which was the highest number tallied, followed by the Galaxy S7 edge with 77 points. The LG G6 came in fourth.
It's believed that the firm's ability to bundle top-notch cameras, gorgeous displays and hefty batteries in its smartphones is the reason they “excel at nearly everything” and are a clear favorite among consumers. Its flagship devices are also competitively priced, offering impressive internals for a somewhat modest fee.
For those unaware, the Galaxy S8 is Samsung's current leading smartphone. It packs a 5.8-inch Infinity Display, an Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 12MP rear-facing camera and a 3,000mAh. The Galaxy S8+, on the other hand, sports almost identical internals, though it has a larger 6.2-inch panel and a 3,500mAh cell.
