T-Mobile confirmed a couple of days back that the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge was ready. It promised to release said update in the near future. T-Mobile subscribers who own either handset should keep an eye out for an update notification today as Magenta has now released Nougat for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

That's not all. While T-Mobile didn't mention the Galaxy Tab S2 earlier this week, it has also released the Nougat update for this tablet. Not like Galaxy Tab S2 owners on T-Mobile are going to mind, they will be excited to finally get a taste of Nougat as well.

Firmware version G920TUVU5FQE1 and G925TUVU5FQE1 has been released by T-Mobile for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Galaxy Tab S2 owners on T-Mobile should keep an eye out for firmware version T817TUVU2BQE2.

All of the features that come part and parcel of Android 7.0 Nougat are included in the update for all three devices. You should definitely check out our Whats's New with Nougat series to find out everything that you need to about Nougat on Samsung devices.

T-Mobile is rolling out these firmware updates over-the-air so it may take a couple of days before they arrive for all users across the United States.
